General Bio

Born and raised in Mexico, Alexandra was a seasoned AcroYoga facilitator who passionately shared this art form for over a decade across the globe, embracing its diverse expressions and cultural richness.

Her teachings now weave together sacred Indigenous wisdom, Thai massage fused with osteopathy, Wuo Tai, Breema, Rebozo (Pha Kao Ma), and various aquatic bodywork techniques.

Driven by her deep love for Thai Massage and Aquatic Therapies, Alexandra has masterfully integrated elegance and fluidity into her practice. As the visionary founder of the renowned Chalananda Retreat Center and the esteemed Ways of Water Aquatic School, she has cultivated a thriving wellness community. Chalananda has become a sanctuary for seekers of rejuvenation and self-discovery, while Ways of Water leads the way in innovative water-based therapies.

Alexandra’s greatest passion lies in fostering unity and deep connection through movement, healing touch, and meaningful experiences.

My Approach

In my practice and courses, I emphasize principle-based teaching—honoring the body’s natural intelligence and wisdom. I believe that effective bodywork is not just about technique but about working in harmony with the body’s innate mechanisms.

By attuning to this intelligence, we learn to practice bodywork with grace, efficiency, and sustainability—ensuring that both practitioner and recipient experience ease and balance.

In our workshops, you’ll experience a rich blend of disciplines, including:
• Thai Massage (Static and Dynamic)
• Sacred Dance
• OsteoDance

Each of these is infused with traditional cloth techniques, incorporating the Rebozo (Mexican tradition) and Pa Khao Ma (Thai tradition)—a unique form of bodywork that utilizes cloth to support and enhance healing movements.

Through these practices, you’ll learn how to engage with the body in a way that fosters deep restoration and flow for both giver and receiver.
